- YWAM Disaster Management & Urban Health Care School
- A school being pioneered by The YWAM Network of City Initiatives in partnership with YWAM San Francisco.
- A 6 month training training course focusing on health care topics and hands on skills that will train the students for the mission field and for service in the health care industry. Students will also be prepared to respond to disaster situations around the world.
- The desire for this first school is to multiply trainers and not only to recruit workers.
- The school is for people who have already completed a YWAM DTS, but there will be seminars run throughout the course on various topics that can be attended by people who have not gone through a Discipleship Training School with YWAM.

- They had over 140 songs submitted and have narrowed it down to 12. The musicians for the album are still being finalised, but right now they are specifically looking for a drummer.
- They are still waiting on the final signing of the contract, but if all goes to plan they will be starting to lay down the tracks on May 17th.

- Hub for earthquake relief
- Dominican Republic sits right next to Haiti and some of the first external YWAM teams traveled into Haiti from the Dominican Republic
- Helping to bring in teams, coordinate food shipments and are part of the outreach team working in front of the National Palace in Port au Prince, Haiti.
- They are in desperate need of many supplies like food, medicine, tents, blankets and the fincance to have them shipped into Haiti by land from the Dominican Replublic.

- The 30 kit-homes that we talked about in episode 2 of the YWAM Podcast has arrived in Haiti and the crew has started to construct them. They offer a more permanent solution than the hoop homes that are set-up, but are a lot more costly and time consuming to provide and assemble.
