- The rainy season has now come to Haiti, causing havoc among the volunteer tent city and many of the tent cities that the Haitian people are living in. Over 10,000 people have had to be relocated out of low lying tent cities to higher ground, and it hasn’t been easy for them.
- There is still a huge need for adequate shelters for the survivors of the earthquake.

- Base Leader’s Training
- YWAM Harpenden will be hosting Base Leader’s Training on June 12th – 18th. The base leaders training is put on by the International Chairman’s Team and is considered to be crucial training and skills for any YWAM Centre leader.
- The course will cover topics like:
- Apostolic Leadership / vision development
- Communications, finances, structures and systems
- Relational leadership
- Hospitality
- Dealing with discipline
- Spiritual leadership
- How to incorporate spiritual development in all areas of your YWAM Centre

- The YWAM Music community has opened up their music store. You can find many different YWAM artists and bands over there, along with links to where you can purchase their music.

- Adoption Seminar in Cluj, Romania
- YWAM in Cluj is hosting an adoption seminar on May 22.They are hoping to help raise awareness and train adoptive families, foster families, social workers, psychologists, and teachers in the area of adoption, specifically looking at the attachment of children.

- YWAM Conferences in Timisoara, Romania
- The first conference was a training week called EQUIP. The goal of that conference was to equip YWAM staff with the skills and spiritual direction to continue to bear fruit in all their ministries in Central Europe.
- The second conference was yet another celebration of YWAMs 50 year anniversary. The people who attended that had the privilege of hearing from Al Akimoff, the leader of YWAM Slavic Ministries and one of YWAMs first missionaries to Eastern Europe.

- YWAM York Street Angels
- The street angels can often be found on Friday and Saturday nights caring for people in York’s city centre who are in need. Their official motto is "to help make York city centre a safer and better place, practically helping, caring and listening to people, especially those in vulnerable or difficult situations." This includes passing out flip flops to people who need shoes, finding accommodation for people with no where else to go, helping people find taxi rides home, handing out water to people who need it and more.

- YWAM Boston is wrapping up their latest Encounter Tour of the East Coast of the US. The have seen many people give their lives to the Lord through this tour, and have had countless opportunities to pray and minister to people they have met.
