  • Next month will be the start of one of the largest sporting events in the world, the FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

• YWAM Ship Tour in Australia
  • The YWAM Australia Medical Ship, the Pacific Link, was in Ballina, New South Wales last week. Over 1200 people came on board for tours.
  • While the ship was in Ballina 1600 spectacles were donated to be distributed in Papua New Guinea to help the estimated 500,000 people in PNG who could have their eye sight restored through corrective lenses.
  • The ship is now in the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia where they will be for about a week.

• • The New Foundations Clinic

• YWAM Continues to rebuild houses in Chile
  • YWAM in Chile is working on building four new houses in a small town called Espinillo, which is a small town of about 40 people outside of Pichilemu. The houses are being built to replace homes that were destroyed by the earthquake.
  • About 400 more homes were destroyed in the area around Pichilemu. This means that there are at least 400 families without a home with the cold and rainy winter season approaching.
  • Prayer requests from the people there are for:
    • Building materials and money for the materials needed
    • Unity between the various leaders of relief projects
    • The people of Rural Chile

  • June 24 – 27 will see YWAM Blackfalds celebrate 10-years of ministry in Alberta, Canada. They will be celebrating with a get together near Drumheller, Alberta in Canada.

• YWAM 50 – West Africa
  • Loren and Darlene Cunningham were recently in Mali, West Africa for their 50 year celebrations. There were 210 people there for the celebration from 13 different West African nations.
  • The celebrations lasted for four days and was preceded by the Base Leadership Training Course put on by Lynn Green, YWAM’s International Chairman.
