YWAM Adelaide Maintenance
Although I have not been up to the YWAM base for almost a month due to our move, things have been happening up there. Earlier this month MMM (Mobile Mission Maintenance) visited YWAM Adelaide to help with necessary repairs …

YWAM Samoa Dyna Fundraiser
I wanted to start this episode with a make good from last month when I replayed the wrong video from YWAM Samoa about their fundraiser for a new service truck as they work to replace their Dyna, that they were donated in 2009 …
When I was in Townsville with YWAM Reef to Outback our workhorse truck was a four door Dyna, which was an absolute beast. We took it into the North Queensland outback on outreach, took it camping, and I used it on at least two different occasions when our family moved houses in Townsville.
Since they posted that video they have already received almost $9000 towards their goal of $63,000. We will link to their Facebook Page, where you can get updates for the fundraiser, and find links to give yourself.
YWAM Kyiv Solar Power Provision
With the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, getting consistent and stable electrical power is a serious challenge. YWAM Kyiv is working to overcome this through solar power …
If you head over to ywamkyiv.org you can find out more about the fund raiser, and also the ministry that YWAM is doing during the continued conflict.
Pacific Hope
Marine Reach Global is a nonprofit ministry organization distributing medical care and supplies from the MV Pacific Hope, a nearly 180-foot boat. The MV Pacific Hope was actually based out of Australia before moving to the Caribbean, where they are currently ministering. My wife and I had the chance to be a part of one of their tours, and she travelled between ports during part of it.

As Marine Reach Global continues to serve in the Bahamas and beyond, they are preparing for essential dry dock maintenance for the MV Pacific Hope, to ensure that they can remain in service for years to come. They are trusting God to provide $240,000 to make this possible and so they can continue to bring medical care, practical aid, and the message of God’s love to communities around the world.

Head over to their facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/marinereachglobal, to follow their ministry, and their web-site, marinereachglobal.org, to sign up for their newsletter and learn how to support their ministry.
YWAM Koha Update
Another one of YWAM’s vessels that is in need of scheduled maintenance in the MV YWAM Koha, and we have this update from their director …
So that’s pretty exciting to hear that they are fully funded, and preparing for their next phase of ministry.

YWAM Ship Ministers in Medang
YWAM Ships Kona’s vessel – the YWAM Liberty, has confirmed that their medical vessel will continue serving communities in Madang Province, with a strong focus on rural and coastal areas. They have leased a local dock for the next 50-years, indicating a substantial long term commitment.

The director has said the long-term plan is to continue delivering vital medical and community services across the province, particularly in Rai Coast and surrounding island communities. In 2025 alone they provided more than 20,000 medical services to people in remote areas.
The YWAM Liberty team travels by sea, anchoring near villages and sending medical teams ashore to set up temporary clinics. Patients requiring further treatment are transported back to the ship. Services provided include general medical care, dental treatment, and cataract surgeries, restoring sight to patients who have lived with vision impairment for up to 10 to 15 years. In addition to healthcare, the organization is also involved in distributing thousands of eyeglasses and delivering health education programs to local communities.
For 2026, the team has paused outreach voyages to focus on supporting health services within Madang town. While that being said the decision was made after consultations with doctors at Modilon Hospital, which is currently under pressure. YWAM Liberty will remain in Madang until at least June 2026, continuing to provide primary healthcare, distribute eyeglasses, and assist local health facilities.
Head to ywamshipskona.org to find out more about their ministry in Madang Province.

Family Care Centre in Vanuatu Celebrate 10 years
In addition to operating the MV Pacific Reach, Marine Reach also runs the Family Care Centre in the Teouma Valley in Vanuatu.
We have reported on a lot of the work that the Family Care Centre has been doing, including the local work recovering from the earthquake that hit Vanuatu last year. Well, this month that centre is celebrating 10 years of operations.
They released this statement about the 10-year anniversary:
“For a decade, it has been our privilege to serve the Teouma Valley community and beyond through our open clinic here in Vanuatu. We are deeply grateful to the families and individuals who have trusted us with their care, and to the community that has welcomed us with open hearts.
This milestone would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, whose commitment has helped turn this vision into reality.
Here’s to 10 years of care, compassion, and community—and many more to come.”
The best place that I have found to follow their ministry is on their Facebook Page, facebook.com/FamilyCareCentre, which is linked to in the show notes.
Philippines Medical Outreach
More than 10,000 villagers benefited from a three-day medical, dental and community health intervention mission of the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Ships Philippines in Barangay San Isidro in Talaingod, Davao del Norte in partnership with the Philippine Army’s 10th Infantry Division.

10,222 villagers, including children, women and elderly folks, availed of the free medical and dental services during the three-day outreach activity, partly capped off with lectures on prevention of communicable diseases in their tribal enclaves.
The health service teams from YWAM and the Philippine Army had also provided villagers with medicines for their ailments during the three-day medical mission.

Kings Kids International Celebrate 50-years of Ministry
On July 4th, 1976, Kings Kids International was born in Kona, Hawaii, which means they are celebrating 50 years of ministry this year!

They sent me this message to share with you about this event …
Kings Kids International’s Mission Statement is:
“To lead children, youth and families into knowing God intimately, bringing Him joy and, together with Him and one another, making Him and His Kingdom known to all.”
KKI is an international movement that embraces a Kingdom lifestyle that is family-based, generationally linked, and supported by covenantal relationships. Our purpose is to mobilize, equip, reach out to and care for children, youth, families and communities, helping them to know God intimately, bring Him joy, and – together with Him and one another – make Him and His Kingdom known.
So, this year is very special and we will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 16 different regions in five different continents!
This will be an opportunity to:
- remember and celebrate His faithfulness over the past 50 years,
- share stories and testimonies from different countries,
- worship and pray together,
- build friendships and connections and honor our past and present partnerships
- look forward and prepare for the future
We are called to remember and consecrate our hearts as we learn the new way for the new day ahead. It will be a time of gratitude, joy, and inspiration and you are all invited to join us.

Rebuilding in Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa
We will now look at an update from the YWAM base in Jamaica helping rebuild from the damages from Hurricane Melissa that hit in October last year.
That volunteer was one of many volunteers that have been helping with the rebuilding in Montego Bay. Teams are working tirelessly under the sun, committed to restoring not just shelter, but dignity and hope.

Last week the volunteers were able to build 15 homes, directly supporting the broader commitment to deliver 200 new homes to families affected by Hurricane Melissa.
You can read more details about the work through a story linked to in the show notes, and also on the YWAM Jamaica web-site, ywamjamaica.org.
Athi River Mission Builders
Here’s a testimony from a volunteer who was at Ywam AthiRiver, Kenya earlier this year.

“I am writing to tell that by God’s unfailing grace and mercy, I had a most rewarding volunteer experience at YWAM Athi River. This was my first venture abroad. As I wrap up my two-week stay, I cannot help but remember how, thanks to your singular initiative, this trip came to be. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
“I look forward to my next opportunity to serve at this location, as well as other locations. May you continue to be led by the Holy Spirit in everything you do to help other volunteers find their places to serve. I do hope to meet you someday.”
–Simone, serving at #YWAMAthiRiver, Kenya
