Pray to End Bible Poverty
One of YWAM’s global prayer initiatives is The Invitation, which we do every month. This month we are praying to End Bible Poverty.
Four ways that you could pray this month is for translations and publications, pray for distribution of the Bibles, prayer for Biblical education for people after they have received their Bibles, and to pray for the Habakkuk Initiative to holistically disciple 80 nations in 10-years.
You can find out more about the prayer initiative, including what our prayer focus will be for November, over at ywam.org/theinvitation.

V2 Life Association – YWAM Vanuatu – School Building Project
At the end of 2021 God provided enough to start building a new cyclone-safe building for the Teouma Christian Academy in Vanuatu, and the walls are now up. Once complete it will house two full-size classrooms, 5 self-contained toilets, and a staff room.
Now that the walls are up on the new classrooms YWAM Vanuatu is praying for the final $100,000 to come in so that they can have the room installed. Their current classrooms are all full, and they are unable to accept any new students at the academy, so their desire to see the building completed by the start of the new school year in 2023.

Brother Andrew Passes Away
Brother Andrew, known as “The Bible Smuggler”, had partnered with YWAM for decades, and his influence is very evident in the mission.
For more than 60 years, Open Doors’ founder—Brother Andrew—visited over 125 countries in service to the global church. Sadly, last month, Brother Andrew went home to be with God after spending his life in service. God used Andrew’s obedience and prayers to change millions of lives and eternities. We are grieving but we are equally thankful.
Brother Andrew, in one of his final interviews stated that the thing he wanted to be remembered for most, was that he was a Disciple of Jesus Christ.
